A former Syrian soldier, now FSA fighter, shows his military ID card and a seperate police ID card. During the United Nations mission in Syria the soldier said that all military personnnel were given police ID cards, and answers to the questions they knew the UN would ask. This is an example of how the Syrian regime maintained a huge military presence in urban areas during the United Nations mission, monitoring the implementation of Kofi Annan's six-point-plan.
