In the burnt ruins of his home, a villager from Kastan, Idlib, surveys the repair work needed in order to return. On April 21st 2012 the Syrian army and shabiha loyal to Bashar al-Assad attacked the village, leaving homes burning and the village petrified of potential future attacks.
